I managed a high volume salon in a retail environment. I developed sales and customer service strategies and dealt with staffing, training, associate development, performance assessments and succession plans for my staff. My day to day responsibilities were to delegate the team in a very customer focused, fast past environment where being able to prioritize and multitasking is a must. I managed day to day operations while training, monitoring and implementing safety and other p&p's. While helping assist the front end by answering phones, make appointments, updating customer accounts, provide information on products and services while giving general quotes and checked in/ out dogs. I also handled customer inquiries, concerns and complaints to find the best solutions possible while building a good rapport with each client. I also made sure daily and week plans were being met by making daily/weekly strategies and goals. I did the supply order and managed the salon budget and monitor trends. I wrote a schedule for 14 to accommodate the business needs and trends and did the interviewing for potential positions while also promoting with in and develop new talent for management and grooming positions while fostering a positive work environment.
