My job is to grade homework and exams, provide tutoring services, substitute for classes, and be a representative of the school of music. This particular job utilizes me for the music theory, musicianship lab, and form and analysis classes.
Music Tutor-Concordia University Irvine-2014-2017,Cal Baptist-September 2017 to March 2020.
My role was to tutor music theory, musicianship, and general music principles to undergraduate and graduate students.
Music Theory/Piano Instructor- Glee Music Academy August 2019- Present
My responsibilities included helping the students work on their piano technique from a method book, instruct and assist in entry-level music theory, and follow the teaching goal expectations from the primary piano instructor.
Tenor Section Leader- Immanuel Lutheran Church- May 2018 to May 2019
My duties as the tenor section leader are to assist in rehearsals through diligent sight-reading and musicianship, perform occasion solos or quartets in the service, and provide musical leadership from within the ensemble.
Music Director/Composer- “10 Days in a Madhouse”- Theatre Production, Concordia University Irvine-March 2018
My responsibilities included composing new music and arranging music for the new theatre production. In addition to the compositional responsibilities, I was also in charge of performing in and leading a band of live musicians for the production.
Elementary Music Teacher- January 2018 to June 2018
My purpose was to teach music fundamentals to kindergarten students and help use music to increase their overall focus and give them a glimpse of arts they may not be typically exposed to. Part-Time Worship Musician- Searchlight Ministries, Yorba Linda CA June 2016- September 2017
My job requirements were to read charts, participate in rehearsal, perform, and lead the congregation in music.

-Took an independent study on the conducting and leadership of Male Choruses which involved aiding in voice lessons to new students, assistance in rehearsal, performing solos in the ensemble, and conducting in the Spring Concert

11 years of guitar- performed acoustic guitar in collegiate bluegrass group, “Americana”, studied under Lee Zimmer.
10 years of voice- performed with the Concordia Choir in the Vatican, the Berliner Dom, and the Castle Church in Wittenberg. Studied with Dr. Robyn Frey-Monell, Robert MacNeil, and Brenda Reinebach.
7 years of piano- Studied with Patricia Riffel, Brenda Reinebach, and Mary Vanhoozer
7 years of music composition- arrangements and original pieces performed in various church services, recital, concerts. Has studied with award-winning composer, Christian Guebert, Dr. Tom Mueller, Dr. Glenn Pickett and Dr. Joshua Rodriguez. Has been in masterclasses with Eriks Esenvalds and Zack Stanton.
Winner of the CBU’s 2019 Choral Composition Competition
2nd place winner of Riverside Philharmonic’s Magnon Competition.
6 years of handbells- Performed original arrangements in Alaska and toured Australia. Recently performed at the Handbell Musicians of America National Seminar
4 years of conducting training- Studied under Dr. Michael Busch, Dr. Marin Jacobson, Dr. Herb Geisler(CUI), Dr. John Reinebach, and Dr. Gene Peterson(CBU)
