Educational Background:
I am currently attending Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. The courses i have taken are ENC1101 and ENC 1102 (English 1 and 2). Biodiversity and Biological principles (along with both of the labs that coincide). Spanish courses for 6 years. Math: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Methods of Calculus, Experimental Design and Statistics, and Math for Engineers with Application.Chemistry 1 and Chemistry. Evolution. World Geography. Environment and Society. Interpretation of fiction.

Relevant Experience:
I have been volunteering with the Florida Atlantic University Elasmobranch Lab since 2018 working with graduate students on their project’s. I have been volunteering for the “Ladies Fish Off” fishing tournament for about 10 years now raising money for their charity. Along with volunteering for Surfers for Autism (Teaching autistic children how to surf.), and countless beach cleanups.
Field and Team work:
I have extracted stingray barbs from specimens, retrieved the olfactory bulb from the brain of sharks through the nose, made Agar for petri dishes for experiments.
Domestic and Handy skills:
I can cook many kinds of dishes, I clean and organize very well, I have CPR and first aid certifications and experience, basic mechanical skills (both boats and cars), basic building skills, basic landscaping and gardening, and computer skills (Data analysis).

Water Skills:
SSI Scuba certified, free diving, spearfishing, coast guard boating safety course, competitive swimming in pool and ocean, and lifeguard certified.

Boating Skills:
Boat driving from the 10ft range to the 40ft range both twin and single inboards and outboards, basic marine knots, extensive fishing knowledge, tons of experience filleting, bait rigging, visual navigation, basic compass navigation, US Coastguard safety course, and intermediate boat rigging, along with thousands of sea hours both in and out of international waters.

Other:
Drone operating and videoing, underwater photography skills, Microsoft office suite skills, video editing, extensive social media knowledge along with running all of the FAU Spearfishing and Free Diving Clubs social media accounts and email.
Previous experiences in harsh conditions:
I have dealt with harsh sea conditions many times before on boats while crossing from Florida to Bimini and while fishing, I am very familiar with the summer weather patterns of the island itself when it comes to both the heat and the rain storms. I am already aware of all the mosquitoes, biting flies , and no see ems. Along with the fact that i enjoy going out and camping.
