Tamarack Camps Ortonville, MI July 2018 -September 2020
An overnight Summer camp in central Michigan that teaches children ages 6-16 the fundamentals of independence and growth while creating lifelong relationships and friendships and embracing unforgettable moments and experiences.

Camp Counselor/Specialist/Supervisor
(Summer 2018, Summer 2019) Working as a personal counselor for a young girl with Special Needs, suffering from severe underdevelopment and obesity. It was my responsibility for her comfort and inclusion amongst general campers, and developing basic daily living skills.
Worked as a general counselor for girls ages 6-9 and ages 12-14.
Received an award at the end of the summer called “Color War Captain” where one day at the end of the summer, 8 of most exceptional staff throughout the entire camp are chosen to represent and lead a team
(2 captains per team) of campers and other staff in a competitive competition to achieve a common goal.
Job requires many responsibilities, interactive social skills, and full time supervision of children.

Working as a fitness and dance instructor for children ages 6-17. Dance styles include Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical, and Dance Fitness. Primarily focusing on fundamentals of dance including technique and rigorous conditioning.
Choreographing for children participating in Regional and National Dance Competitions.

The Friendship Circle Volunteer West Bloomfield, MI 2012-2018
Friendship Circle of Michigan is a non-profit organization affiliated with Lubavitch of Michigan. Their goal is to provide every individual with special needs the support, friendship, and inclusion that they deserve. The Friendship Circle also provides support to individuals and families struggling with isolation, addiction and other family-related crises.

Volunteers work as a “Pal” for any individual that attends the Friendship Circle. Volunteers work personally with the individuals to improve basic daily living skills, and enjoy a fun and inclusive experience in the sensory rooms including music rooms, cooking, ball/cheese pits, and indoor sandboxes.
