In my role, I was responsible for digital marketing and brand identity creation, handling conceptualization of brand identity and brand standards to project management and social media content creation.

Freelance Designer, January 2017 - Present.
As a freelance designer, I have completed a multitude projects for clients, such as The Hope of Shades Foundation, Dani Austin, and 100+ other individual clients. Assignments included newsletters, custom graphics, brand identity development, packaging, company and personal brand logos, custom Snapchat event filters, social media graphics, website banners, gifs, videos, and much more based on client needs.

Solar Project Coordinator, Graduate Student, Southern Methodist University
Taos, NM, August 2018
While pursuing my degree in Design & Innovation at SMU, I traveled to New Mexico to implement and oversee a complete solar panel installation for the library on SMU’s Taos, NM campus. During the course of 2 weeks, as the sole project coordinator, I conducted extensive sustainable technology research, visited numerous solar-powered communities and businesses in New Mexico, coordinated with solar power companies in the area, proposed the panel installation contract to SMU, and had it approved for installation.

Social Media Assistant, Dani Austin
Dallas, TX, September 2017 - January 2018.
While completing graduate work, I served as assistant to Dallas blogger Dani Austin. Dani is a social media influencer on many platforms, predominately Instagram and Youtube. As her assistant, I worked to find and grow her unique "brand" and revamp her online presence and audience. I created graphics for her brand, created logos and social media graphics, wrote and posted on her blog, personally revamped, grew, and designed her weekly online newsletter, took aesthetically pleasing photos for her accounts, and created and hosted giveaways.

Digital Marketing Coordinator, First United Bank
Plano, TX, January 2016 – July 2017.
As the digital marketing coordinator for First United Mortgage Group, I essentially served as a "one woman marketing firm" for the sales professionals (Loan Officers). In this role, I created and executed marketing campaigns from the ground up (by designing them, posting them, and tracking the analytics for results), regulated and was admin on the CRM email platform, created original content using Adobe Creative Cloud, created monthly social marketing content calendars, designed and ran Facebook Ads for all the sales professionals, created, and managed, posted, and monitored the content of over 100 professional Facebook Business pages for the company's sales professionals. The creative aspect of this role helped me realize I wanted to pursue my design potential, and this was one of the reasons I applied to SMU for my (now completed) graduate degree.

Marketing Intern, Tech Wildcatters

As an intern for a prominent Dallas incubator, I learned first hand what startup companies experience in their fragile early stages. I worked closely with several companies that Tech Wildcatters meticulously selected, all specializing in wearable technology for first responder application. I provided digital marketing and social media materials including blog posts, social media posts, photography, and more for the startup companies, and for Tech Wildcatters.
