Women’s Center WSU

Admin Assistant/ Front Desk Assistant ( January 2020 -March 2020)
I worked the front desk at the women’s center at WSU. I would answer the phone and help whoever came to the front desk. I assisted the program coordinators and other students with projects. COVID 19 closed WSU campus so I had to quit in March.

Paul G. Allen School of Global Animal Health (Kawula Lab)

Undergraduate Research Assistant (September 2019 - January 2020)
I worked in Kawula lab as a research assistant among graduate students and principle investigator. We worked primarily with Francisella tularensis to examine intracellular pathogen virulence and pathogenesis strategies. I was assisting in the lab with dispensing supplies, organization, cleaning supplies and making media and agar plates



Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI)

Clinical Research Assistant (May 2019 - August 2019)
Worked in the Clinical Immunology team and assisted with work associated with clinical trials in vaccine and adjuvant development. Monitored and analyzed assays and assisted with ELISAS, ELISPOT, and CFUs. Worked in quality assurance and developed standard operating procedures for lab equipment.


WSU School of Molecular Biosciences: Winuthayanon Lab
Undergraduate Research Assistant (Fall 2018- Spring 2020)
Worked in the lab as a research assistant among graduate students and principle investigator. Performed routine tasks and assisted laboratory staff. Organized and dispensed supplies in the lab, cleaned glassware and instruments (with autoclave), conducted specialized tasks such as genotyping and staining. Handled mice and performed dissections for study as well as smearing to assess reproductive cycle.

Institutional Climate, Oversight, and Administration (Winter 2018- Present)

Voting Member. Seat on the President’s Commission of Status of Women at Washington State University. Examined and made recommendations regarding those issues that affect the University’s strategic goal of creating an environment of integrity, trust, and respect.
