Pro?le I am looking for a career in soccer where I will be able to showcase my high level of knowledge and experience of the sport by helping develop soccer players. I enjoy helping individuals develop as players and as people. I am motivated by improvement and I would bring success to any program that I am involved in. My experiences on and o? the soccer ?eld have prepared me to coach and train soccer at an upper level.
Experience Assistant Coach , Brewton Parker College – 2020-2021
During my time at Brewton-Parker College, I receive the opportunity to coach at the collegiate level as an assistant coach. My role as an assistant coach at Brewton-Parker College was to help the Head Coach develop players on and o? of the soccer ?eld. This position gave me the opportunity to further develop my skills as a coach by allowing me to compose bene?cial practices for the team, developing our players individually and as a unit. As a coach I was also able to help make crucial tactical decisions during training sessions and games.
Collegiate Soccer Player, Brewton-Parker College – 2018- Present
Playing soccer at the collegiate level enhanced my ability to compete at a high level on and o? the ?eld, while also balancing academics. I was able to gain a better understanding of collegiate soccer and also of American soccer development. Being one of the captains on my team helped me gain a leadership role which prepared me for my desired career path of coaching.
Curaçao National Team Starter – 2013- Present
As a national team soccer player I gained experience playing soccer at the International level. Competing as a national team soccer player I am able to see di?erent kinds of playing styles and also have knowledge on what kind of discipline it takes to be able to compete at the highest level. Through playing for my national team for many years, I have enhanced my understanding of the sport and created many great connections along the way.
Grassroots Referee/Coach – 2017-Present
Refereeing at the club level gave me an opportunity to view soccer form a di?erent perspective which helped my ability to develop players to become more well-rounded. Refereeing also gave me a great understanding of the rules of club soccer.
