o This degree was a Business degree with a focus on the shipping industry. I took a great interest in all of my communication and marketing classes. My unique degree, plus my work experience make me a great candidate for your Sales Manager position.
Experience
• Dock Worker Blue Dolphin Marina 03/16-01/17
o As a dock worker, I was responsible for maintaining an environment of grace for the marina. I would do general maintenance around the marina. I was also re-sponsible for a daily walkthrough where I would inspect all boats docked.
• Audit/Risk Management Intern at Moody National Bank 6/18 - 8/18
o This internship gave me a great insight on the financial industry and professional business etiquette. I would complete miscellaneous tasks for the Chief Risk of-ficer. I would review materials and provide insight in their Senior Loan Officer committee meetings and I completed a strategic review over Telephone Transfer Fraud
• Customer Service Representative at Care Free Boat Club 5/19-3/20
o As a Customer Service representative, I was responsible for maintaining the boats in our fleet. This would include detailing the boats, refueling the boats, pumping out the boats and flushing out the motors after use. Prior to customers arriving, we would reach out to them to accommodate any needs they had. This included pumping up any inflatables, supplying extra life jackets and supplying ice and drinks if requested.
• Outbound Dock Supervisor at Southeastern Freight Lines 6/20-
o I am responsible for crewing and the overall flow of our operation. Keeping an en-vironment of grace on our freight dock is a necessity for safety. I possess great communication skills. On a day to day basis, I communicate information to our staff, other departments in our service center and other service centers.
o I have completed their leadership training course. During this course the im-portance of customer service was taught. Due to being in a service-based busi-ness, the only way to be above your competition is through your customer ser-vice. If a customer has a good experience, they are much more likely to rec-ommend your service. The leadership training, I received will translate into this role very well.
