The University of California, Los Angeles Sept. 2018 - Present
? Class Level: Junior
? Major GPA: 3.5
? Overall: 3.3
Experience
? Laborer for Magleby Construction 07/06/2018 – 08/17/2018
? Worked as a laborer and switched between landscaping, excavation and masonry on the Stein
Erikson Residences in Park City, Utah. Working on the site forced me to be a fast learner and pay
close attention to detail. I was taught how to operate small excavators and other machines that
were necessary for the job.
? Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity 03/22/2016– 03/26/2016
? As part of a group of 20 students from the International School Of Du?sseldorf, I spent a week
working on one of Habitat for Humanity’s construction sites. My group was located in Cumpaña,
Romania. We were able to finance a large portion of our trip by collecting and returning recyclable
bottles and collecting “fand” given out by the German government for returned bottles. Tasks were
limited to manual labor and cleanup jobs. I was tasked with setting up and taking down scaffolding,
making cement, installing insulation and putting up drywall It was an incredibly rewarding
experience as we worked directly alongside the locals who were going to inhabit the completed
housing block.

? Volunteer at Rabat Children’s hospital 04/06/2013– 04/14/2013
? Volunteered at Morocco’s only Children’s hospital through the organization Cross Cultural
Solutions. My main duty was the supervision and entertainment of children aged three to twelve
between their, or their family members’, treatment. As one of three non-employed volunteers, I
was thrust into a very active position requiring responsibility, patience and commitment.
Furthermore, given my ability to speak conversational French, I was often used as an interpreter
for the group, both in the hospital and during social excursions in Rabat.
? Intern at Noble Group, London 06/12/2015- 06/27/2015
? Gained valuable experience in research and communication by working alongside members of
the power, gas and trading group at the London office in the UK. I learned to appreciate the value
of group effort and commitment. I was tasked with researching and presenting marketing
strategies for buying and selling shale oil. Most tasks were research based.
? Unpaid Summer Research, UCLA 06/09/2019- 08/23/2019
? I worked under the supervision of Cody Giddings, to help collect and organize data for a
research project conducted by professor Robert Trager at UCLA. Every week I was sent
documents containing election data from African countries since democratic elections had been
taking place. My job was to sift through the information and compile data in an excel document
which could be further broken down and analyzed in search of trends. Prior to this research there
had not been a single source with all election data.
? Student Social Media Officer 09/2019 - Present
? I am a student in charge of operating the social media accounts for UCLA Men's Rugby and
creating content. I create content promoting the team and market our pages to larger
groups/companies involved with Rugby content. Linked below is an example of content I created to
promote the 2019/2020 season. It was not only posted to the UCLA pages, but I communicated with
other companies who agreed to share it as well. Within my first week as social media officer, our
facebook page saw a 900% increase in page views, while also generating previously unreached levels
of engagement.
