• Studied under Urbanity company members along with renowned artists
• Created a piece using company members that was performed at an informal showing
• Learned how to write grants
• Studied under Kate Trammel learning different types of community dance work
• As a class, traveled to various community settings such as nursing homes, The Ark, Generations
Crossing and Day Care centers teaching dance arts therapy.
• In small group began a weekly class with members of The Ark, facilitating dance arts therapy and
creating a flash mob performed in downtown Harrisonburg by members
• Helped facilitate Dance for Parkinson’s Disease on the weekends at the Forbes Center
