PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
US. Marine Corps; Camp Pendleton, CA 2015 – 2020
Helicopter Power plants and Drive train Mechanic
? Maintained and helped run a shift in the maintenance department at a Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron consisting of 27 (UH/AH) BELL helicopters costing +$700M. Conducted routine inspections, examined and inspected aircraft components to include air frame & landing gear, hydraulic systems, drive train, and power plants.
? Managed, read, and interpreted technical/maintenance manuals and training publications to enhance teaching objectives, provide up to date training aids, and incorporate equipment modifications.
? Supervised maintenance evolution’s and guided scheduled inspections as a Collateral Duty Inspector which contributed to 1683.7 H-1 mishap free flight hours and 1041 H-1 sorties from March 2018 to August 2020.
? Performed Daily and Turnaround airworthiness inspections of 2 different BELL helicopter models; performed the safe launch and recovery of +180 aircraft which contributed to +13K training flight hours successfully accomplished.
