The School has developed a program for young girls in middle colleges and High School to learn the theories and creativeness of becoming an entrepreneur.
At The end of the experience the girls had to present an elevator pitch to venture capitalists and risk management at the BB&T Bank downtown Greensboro
We bonded and grew with the girls every morning starting at 6:00 am for exercise before classes.

Volunteer Experience
January 2015 Volunteer – Four Seasons Mall Greensboro, NC

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I raised awareness about civic engagement and the importance of the Civil Rights Movement through art. In addition, we also assisted younger children in participating in the activity.
The community service activity also ensured that Bennett College’s presence was felt within the Greensboro community during this historic day.
Fall 2012 Participant – “Don’t Text, Don’t Drive” Campaign, Greensboro Police Dept. Greensboro, NC
Student Resource Officers (SROs) encouraged students to create a fun promotional commercial about the importance of phone usage when operating a motor vehicle.
Create professional working relationships with city officials such as, police offers, educators, city council leaders, etc.
Research statistics regarding car accidents within the state of North Carolina to further enhance project.

Leadership Experience
Fall 2006 – 2009 Participant – Delta Academy Greensboro, NC
Participants are required to fellowship once a month to learn about various topics surrounding African American femininity for adolescents.
Network with active members of the sorority.
Actively participate in various workshops and communicate with assigned mentors.
