Conference and Events Intern
Full-time intern within the Administrative Affairs office working with faculty, staff, and students on over 100 events ranging from small lunches to 2-day conferences.
• Collaborated with the Director to plan the 8th annual E-Discovery Conference with over 800 registered participants.
• Arranged the logistics of travel, lodging, and transportation within the 20K budget for the 35 speakers invited to present at the conference.
• Contacted necessary vendors for the event production and created a vendor proposal form to track and monitor over 10 requests.

Supported operations team in the Miami office by researching different experts in the culinary industry for future events, finding entertainment for large events, and recruiting vendors for food festivals.

As an insurance company in Key Biscayne, the objective of this Allstate company was to understand that each person’s insurance needs are different. I worked with the agents to service new and current customers.
• I assessed customer’s insurance policies and found methods to save customers measurable amounts of money by updating their memberships and finding ways to customize their memberships.
• Made hundreds of curtesy calls to determine if customers were satisfied with their current car, home, or life insurance plans.
• In charge of revamping marking tactics and advertising the business in a different way by updating pictures, publishing weekly articles, and using pinpointed advertising to reach potential customers.
