• Quickly promoted from kennel attendant to ICU Technician.
• ICU Technician responsibilities included administration of medication and treatments of ICU patients, monitor and
document progress, cleaning/disinfection of kennels and daily care such as feedings and walks. Ensure all shelter animals
are up to date on vaccinations, have had fecal flotation performed dewormed, HWT or FeLV/FIV testing performed,
microchipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Perform phlebotomy for any necessary laboratory testing.

unable to be rehabilitated therefore unsafe to place for adoption.

• Spent a summer assisting in their low cost clinic. Assisted in high volume spay/neuter surgeries, Low cost vaccine clinics,
and surgeries on shelter animals. Frequently assisted on AWA's mobile clinic and traveled once a week to various Camden,
NJ locations to perform low cost surgery, vaccinations, and community outreach and education.
• I was promoted to the feline manager position (Feline Companion Animal Specialist) My responsibilities included
overseeing the intake and adoption of the shelter cats, ensured proper care, cleaning and disinfection of cat adoption room.
I also managed the feline foster care program which included recruiting potential foster parents to care for kittens under 8
weeks of age, in need of socialization or in need of in home care until adopted.
• Ran "Foster Parent Orientation" once a month to educate new foster parents, allow anyone potentially interested in
fostering to obtain education & create relationships with our foster parents.
• Attended numerous educational seminars ranging from animal behavior, shelter disinfection, infectious diseases and
viruses and public relations. (Most held by the AWFNJ)
• As weekend manager I oversaw daily operations Friday through Sunday. Ensuring proper staffing, conflict resolution and
