Selected for the 2016 cohort; focused on learning about businesses in the Greater Des Moines area and leading community commitment to support local non-profit organization, Heinz 57 Animal Rescue. Received a Camp Fire �Absolutely Incredible Kid� award in 2016 for contributions to Valley music and drama departments.
Silver Cord recipient for volunteering more than 50 hours each year. Volunteer experience includes Lutheran Church of Hope Vacation Bible School song leader, kitchen help for meals, Meals from the Heartland, and working information tables for school registration and music competition events.
Child care
Two years� experience in caring for children under the age of 5; establish routines, provide transportation to school and lessons; and provide constant supervision.
Leadership roles at Drake University include being the current Editor for Sigma Alpha Iota, the campus�s professional music fraternity. Other leadership roles include being the Secretary for the Drake Choir and Vice President of the student chapter of the American Chordal Directors Association. Member of various extracurriculars such as Drake Choir, spero Chamber Choir, Sigma Alpha Iota, National Association for Music Education, and American Chordal Directors Association.
