I am pleased to find the Art Curator opening for Exhibition Company. As a lifelong enthusiastic of the power of art, I truly believe that art is society’s key communicator. Throughout my career, I have had different experiences related to art institutions.I had the opportunity to pass along different roles: from guide tours at La Abadía: Latin American studies and art center, to the organization of exhibitions at MCMC, the art gallery I’m currently working at, that specializes in Argentinean modern and contemporary art. As a result, I have acquired professional experience in project management and problem solving skills.
As an Art Gallery Manager, I am responsible for most of the daily activities, which has led me to develop in numerous roles. But, what I enjoy the most is taking part in the process of making an exhibition and the relationship with the artists.I worked with well-known artists who marked the art scene in Argentina and worldwide during the late 60s, such as: Eduardo Costa, César Paternosto and Edgardo Giménez. I also had the opportunity to work for Miguel Harte in the development of a project for the Azcuy Award.
To work hard. To highlight the artwork’s process and not only the result. To open the discussion to the different disciplines and concerns of the contemporary world. This is what defines me and, what I believe, makes me an excellent candidate for this position.
