Recently finished my Media with pathway Communication degree at Nottingham Trent University with a 2:1. I have enhanced skills in communication, organisation, and teamwork. I am currently looking for a career in the Media and Communication roles of PR/ Marketing and Social Media

Relevant work experience
Press and promotion Intern at Art Culture Tourism (ACT):
My role here was to write press releases and blog post about the culture crossing events that ACT organises every month and help out at the event. Whilst on this placement I was able to better refine skills such as:
� Improving my writing skills
� Confidence with talking to different professionals and asking questions
� Self-management and self-discipline through working at home a lot.

Digital Marketing Intern at the Creative Composite:
My role here was to write blog posts and create social media posts for all platforms. I was also there to learn about digital marketing for example: learning about SEO, writing a blog post to a specific audience, learning how to find out who your target audience and organise upload time and dates for social media post . The skills I have improved whilst on this placement are:

Communication
� Experienced in dealing with a variety of customer complaints and talking to them in the correct format and dealing with the problem
� Last year and this year I wrote different types of feature articles. I had to communicate with people in various ways like, email, phone and face to face. I knew that both the emails and face to face interview had to be of professional style
� Creating a PR campaign for a Poet at UNESCO Nottingham, I had to communicate through emails, face to face and phone calls with the poet so that I could create what she had a vision her poem to look like in a video.
Organisation and time management
� Balancing university and work life, I make sure to plan my workload, so I meet deadlines and achieve my full potential with both university work and normal work.
� When I had my part-time job at Debenhams I had to make sure everything is organised and fast pace, so customers do not have to wait too long for their food or drink, and make sure everything is prepared and cleaned for the next time at a certain time.
Problem Solving
� When a customer had a complaint at work, I make sure to sort the problem out quickly and sufficiently so they are getting the standard of service they expect from the business/brand.
� Delivering a PR presentation at university and one group member did not show up, I and my group quickly solved the problem and the presentation ran sufficiently and got our PR campaign plans across to the audience.


Teamwork and leadership
� Media ambassador at college helped teach a media taster lesson at college open day and lead a question and answer session about the course
� Becoming a CERT mentor and supporting the first year at university as really help improve my leadership skills as I have had to take charge with a specific task with them.
