Born on a 100 acre farm in North Carolina, I moved to California intending to pursue a career in art, but soon decided to get back to my roots and study Horticulture at Merritt College. Growing up on a farm taught me a lot about the work of agriculture, but Merritt has taught me about the science and given me experience growing food in a Mediterranean climate.

EXPERIENCE:

Linen & Laurel: Landscape Designer | 2016-2018
Worked with clients to choose their garden style and plant palette preferences to design the best garden for their lifestyle.

Leona Micro Farm: Farmer | 2018-2020
Worked with local chefs and restaurants to grow organic specialty items such as micro greens, edible flowers, herbs, and garnishes.

Homestead Design Collective: Culinary Gardener | 2019-2020
Maintained high end organic kitchen gardens all over the Bay Area growing herbs, fruits, vegetable, and cut flowers both from seeds and starts.
