The most fertile learning environment is one in which the students and the educator challenge one another with new approaches and ideas, channeling something deeper within the choreography they collaboratively create. An immense level of commitment and perseverance leads them to their “aha” moments - moments of elation, making one realize why they do what they do. Sharing time and energy with my students, fosters a safe welcoming space for all of us to bond as an ensemble while engaging proper technique. By sharing their journey towards physical and intellectual growth, my students and I discover greater levels of proficiency and creativity. The capacity for dance to serve as a universal language is what drives my passion to learn more about my craft.
