EXPERIENCE
PROP MASTER SIGNATURE THEATRE. 2014 - Present
Collaborate with Scenic designer and director throughout design process to
determine all furn iture, set dressing, and hand props needed for a production.
Quickly adjust to a production’s changing needs and priorities. Maintain open
communication with director, scenic designer, and other departments throughout
rehearsal, tech and pre view process to solve all problems and requests.
Source, construct, alter, shop- out all furniture, set dressing and hand props for all
Signature productions, typically 6 shows per season. Design and oversee creation
and printing of all paper props for productions’ needs in Adobe Photoshop and
other applicable p rograms.
Hire and manage a freelance over hire staff of 4 to 12 assistants and artisans.
Design, assign, oversee and troubleshoot all prop projects worked on by this staff.
Create an atmosph ere of excellent team collaboration and problem solving ability.
Create prop productio n budgets for all Signature shows and negotiate design
cuts/overages with directors, designers, and internal production departments to
give each show its ideal design. Manage and reconcile prop department materi -
als spending o f approx. $100K per year.
Conceive and implement prop department procedures, practices, shop organi -
zation, and photo inventory of stock as first full time prop department supervisor
at Sign ature Theatre.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with outside vendors, shops,
and other local/regional theate r companies and prop masters.

ASSOCIATE PROP COORDINATOR & ARTISAN PROPSTAR. 2011 - 2014
Coordinate between creative team, stage management, and Propstar’s shop to
create props package for production of multiple Broadway shows. Select
projects include: Kinky Boots, A Streetcar Named Desire, Stick Fly, & Chinglish.
Quickly adapt & adjust priorities to work with changing needs of all productions
in Propstar’s work load while ensuring all deadlines of my project were still met.
PRODUCTION MANAGER ARCH PRODUCTION & DESIGN. 2013
Created and managed production schedules, staffing, materials sourcing,
project bids, and invoicing clients for a custom fabrication & design company.
Collaborated with client to manage location & budget parameter design changes
during on-site installation of first US cut/log art show at the Clemente Soto Velez
Cultural Center.
