Recruited participants for learning community regarding Medication Assisted Treatment programs in jails and prisons to allow facilities from across the country to share best practices and learn from each other in order to increase the quality of their programs.
• Contacted and interviewed directors of Medication Assisted Treatment program in jails and prisons in more than 40 states
• Created the template used during the interviews. Questions revolved around the use of medications for people who had opiate use disorders
• Pitched the idea of a learning community and persuaded directors to join
• Assigned facilities to appropriate learning communities based on types of medications used, facility size, and location
