Had the opportunity to work extensively with professional writers, and collaborate with other young artists, whilst being granted artistic development, and peer support.

Framing the Phrase: Creative Writing in the Galleries— AUG. 2016
Explored modern and contemporary art, responding to works featured in the Guggenheim’s special exhibitions and permanent collection through group discussions, sketching, and creative writing, working closely with professional writers and educators. Enhanced knowledge of the arts through reading assignments of writings inspired by art, learned portfolio development skills through compiling of drawings, creative writing, and collage over the course of eight sessions, culminating in the revision and eventual publishing of one of my entries in a student chapbook.

Whitney Youth Insights Artists — NOV. 2015 – AUG. 2016
Gained knowledge on how to run and maintain a variety of free programs as well as create artmaking activities for youths related to museum exhibitions, explored NYC arts careers and institutions while improving writing and documentation skills. Collaborated with then artist in residence Rachel Rose.
