Butterfly Valve Redesign Project Nov 2019
• Collaborate with a partner in redesigning a butterfly valve assembly
o Improve design efficiency of the valve assembly
o Design model and create detailed drawing of parts and the whole assembly using NX
o Calculate tolerance stack-up for interfacing parts
o Create prototypes using 3D printer and test the time to assemble parts
Tree Branch Bundler Dec 2019
• Working with 2 teammates in designing a device to bundle tree branches for curbside pickup
o Do research and come up with new ideas
o Modeling parts from ideas in Solidworks
o Create detailed drawing of parts and the whole assembly
o Calculate tolerance stack-up for interfacing parts
o Prototype parts using plywood and test the performance of the device
