Hey there, I'm Autumn.
I have spent my whole career telling other people's stories, so to take the time (and space) to tell you mine is honestly uncomfortable. But isn't that how it goes? The one thing we identify with the most, and that we push others to do, we have a hard time practicing ourselves.
I remember the day like it was yesterday: I was failing high school (no joke) so my sweet guidance counselor suggested I take an elective to ease my stress. I looked at the list and saw "Photography 101" and thought "that sounds easy enough...". I walked into that dark room and felt like I was in a movie. Everything went into slow motion as I looked around and saw desks turned towards each other for collaborative work, everyone up and moving around, asking each other questions, and getting their hands dirty. I knew at that moment, deep down in my gut, I had found my people and that I would be a visual storyteller for the rest of my life. Also, a bonus, I finished high school a straight "A" student!
As a full-time business owner and photographer, I wear many hats and those hats have taken me all around the world providing me with a well-rounded approach not only in life but how I tell the story of my brand and others on social media. I'm that person who believes that when we connect the hearts and eyes of our audience, we can change the world for good. My camera has put me in front of celebrities but I am most fulfilled when I am telling the story of a small business or someone making this world better than they found it.
