I’m a professional guitarist who toured Europe, playing in Germany, Austria, and Italy, with the UAB Jazz ensemble. I’m currently on staff at the Vestavia Hills Conservatory of The Arts teaching guitar. Current UAB student, with three credit hours from graduation. I’ve studied privately with Gilad Hekselman, Ben Eunson, Rotem Sivan, Carlos Pino, and Gary Wheat. Attended jazz masterclasses with Kurt Rosenwinkel and Mark Whitfield. I’ve also studied classical guitar with Phil Weaver, and Maria Britan, playing at classical guitar masterclass with Jason Vieaux.

EXPERIENCE
Vestavia Hills Conservatory of The Arts - Guitar Instructor
Teaching beginner guitarists, some intermediate.
Creating individual lesson plans for each unique student, as well as constructing lesson materials in Sibelius to make remote lessons engaging, and fun.

Red Mountain Theatre Company, Birmingham AL - Pit Guitarist

Played guitar in a pit orchestra for two shows at Red Mountain, Thirteen and High School Musical. Other subsequent substitution gigs to fill spots for other musicians.
