Nordstrom, Fashion Show Mall — Salesperson
December 2019 - July 2020
At Nordstrom, I was scheduled in most departments including jewelry, handbags, accessories, young women’s clothing, and men’s clothing. I was responsible for going up to customers and finding out what they came into the store for. Then in that short time span, I had to really listen and get to know what kind of merchandise they were drawn to, so I could potentially sell what they were looking for and more. I closed most nights, and had to make sure all areas were clean while closing registers.

At the movie theater, I was responsible for contributing to the functioning of the theater. Whether I was cleaning theaters, making popcorns, or selling tickets, I was constantly making sure customers were having a great experience at the movies. While there, I was also trained in the pizza hut kitchen.

August 2018 - Present
I am currently attending UNLV to get my Graphic Design Bachelor’s degree with a Fine Arts minor. My end goal is to be an animator. I am also trying to get my Fashion Design Certificate, as I do make my own clothes and would like to sell them one day. Though I have been in college a while, I only recently realized what I wanted to do with my education, so I am just beginning my path.

For my last two years of high school, I attended College of SOuthern Nevada’s Dual Enrollment program where I took both high school and college credits. I graduated with Honors and almost 40 college credits.
