I was working as an Industrial Engineer in Goodwill Industries of south Florida for almost three years. As manager, my responsibilities were to manage both the electrical and mechanical maintenance dept, resource allocation and management, prepare daily & weekly machine check reports, prepare technical specifications for local & international purchase, establish schedule strategy and issue maintenance schedule, control and manage project activities & integrate engineering weekly and monthly meetings & schedule up-dating and corrective action planning for critical items.

The capacity of both units is more than 10-tons/day for both fabric & yarn dyeing. Technical support duties were to meet the after sales issues pertaining to Investronica CAD/CAM/CIM System, Tajima (Computerized Multihead Embroidery Machine), Cintex (Metal Detector Machine) and overhead garments transportation System MRT Installation, Operators Training, Application and Hardware Maintenance Support and Service in the region.

Since Almurtaza Machinery Co., Ltd. became sole agent in Pakistan for Investronica CAD/CAM/CIM System product, I was chosen as Sales & System Engineer for the Investronica Sistemas Products in the region. At that time, GGT was holding the 100% market share in Pakistan but within the year we got 50% share of the market. For the first time, I introduced CAD System in Pakistan, leatherwear manufacturing Industry with a phenomenon to minimize the time wastage for Patterns Designing and Grading. During that time, we sold thirty-five CAD Systems and one with patterns cutting plotter AC-1000 (Mutoh) only to Leatherwear Manufacturer Industry Sialkot (Pakistan).

Sales marketing activities were pre-sales planning, layout designing, application and installation of Monarch and Willet printers, synchronizing of the Bar Code printers with the clients existing networks, developing the bar codes as per client’s requirements for the inventory control system, synchronizing of the Willet continue ink jet printer with client existing manufacturing units. Willet ink jet printers are widely used in pharmaceutical and food industries for the bar code and instructions matter printing with food graded ink.
