OBJECTIVE
Through studying environmental policy and strategies, I have grown in my passion for the planet. Moreover, I hope to dedicate my work to environmental stewardship and forging environmental experience for all students.

CAMPUS COMMUNITY GARDEN COORDINATOR - UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS SPRINGFIELD
(May 2020-Present)
Maintained plant health and distributed produce to local and campus food pantries. Coordinated volunteer opportunities and facilitated work days.
CAMPUS RECYCLING EDUCATOR- UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS SPRINGFIELD
(from September 2019- May 2020)
Worked with students, faculty, and staff to create a comprehensive education program on campus designed to increase recycling participation.
STUDENT LEAD BROOKENS LIBRARY- UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS SPRINGFIELD

Learned to be an effective leader through programming and training efforts of student staff at the library. Improved customer service skill and conflict resolution.

Led hikes and designed and implemented sustainable lesson plans throughout each summer. Worked in the camp garden to provide fresh produce for campers and staff.

I will graduate with a degree in Environmental Studies and Philosophy from the University of Illinois Springfield in May of 2021. I enjoy experiencing wilderness and want to preserve that experience for future generations.
