ACTIVITIES
I volunteer frequently with the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House. Joining Alpha Delta Pi sorority introduced me to this cause, and I will go with my sorority sisters to make dinner for the families staying at RMH, do yard work, or help clean around the facility. This is a cause that I am deeply passionate about and will continue to volunteer at post-college.
I have been riding horses since the age of 5 and competing on a national level for the past 9 years. This sport has taught me discipline and perseverance, which is something I carry into other facets of my life. Riding has also taught me the importance of critique and problem solving to improve and succeed.
I have been involved with an organization called Remember Nhu for over a decade. This organization is a nonprofit committed to ending child sex slavery through prevention. I organized fundraisers for this organization in high school and continue to spread awareness for Remember Nhu within my sorority and on my college campus.
