Enstar Group- Financial Reporting Accountant, Mount Laurel, NJMay 2019- Present
Being part of the Finance Team, I was tasked with multiple different projects that would ultimately work towards quarter end and or year end. These tasks would include monthly account reconciliations, technically journal entries, ledger analysis, any required filings that needed to be completed, and any ad-hoc tasks needed. I also led a Management Review Control Audit for our team as we were transitioning our source data software. I also have experience working with The Big 4 Accounting Firms which is a plus going forward. I additionally was the sole accountant working on a new quarterly reporting process that was needed to be done due to an untrustworthy reporting system run by a 3rd party affiliate.
Independence Blue Cross- Cash Application Analyst, Philadelphia, PA Nov 2018- May 2019As part of the Cash Application team, my job is to keep track of all incoming checks and other variable widgets that come through our department. Some tasks would include adjustments, returns, keying and depositing of checks, and moving money from one spot to another. Everything we do needs to be of high priority because of our impact to the customers who come through Independence Blue Cross.

Functioning as Main Accountant for Daily Internet Gaming Audits which consist of keeping track of revenues, expenses and other various components that keep track of monthly closing numbers. I am also responsible for communicating all the daily data to the casino executives, Division of Gaming, and other department of the casino. Other duties are to create daily casino reports that need to be populated with up-to-date numbers which include Estimated Win, Early Managers Report and Daily Volume Reports. Finally, I worked on a daily basis with upper management of the casino making sure our daily reports are coordinated and accurate.

Worked along-side employees of Maiden Reinsurance Company and assisted with completing multiple states Department of Insurance quarterly filings, quarterly statutory filings, respective account reconciliations, and also general clerical accounting work.
