CBS TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION LOS ANGELES, CA
Full-time intern at Entertainment Tonight and The Insider at the CBS Studio Center in Los Angeles, California. Rotate through all of the major departments at both shows, working primarily on the studio stage, in the control room, in the tape vault, at the news desk and in post-production.
Requested on a regular basis to personally assist the senior producer of Entertainment Tonight and the show hosts of The Insider. Trained and qualified to manage their desks and prepare their schedules. Given valu- able opportunities to assist them at exclusive interviews and media events.
Regular travel with field producers and crew to on-location shoots, taking notes, running footage and com- pleting detailed shoot reports.
Selected among the interns to pitch story ideas to Entertainment Tonight senior producer, Kevin Gershan, with opportunities to workshop scripts and receive mentorship. Work collaboratively with other interns to produce broadcast-quality feature news stories.

Completed term as a production intern and assistant at one of Toronto’s leading and award-winning production companies in music-based film and video. Provided on-set assistance at many Revolver Films productions throughout the term, from commercials to music video shoots directed by the Grammy-nomi- nated Director X.
Personally assisted the award winning director and company founder, Don Allan, with campaign develop- ment and assignments within the production office.

Assisted the producer and floor director of Canada’s number one morning show, Breakfast Television, as well as the floor director of Toronto’s leading local evening news program, CityNews.
