EXPERIENCE
Cosmopolitan Magazine, New York, Ny Editorial Intern

Here I worked on, edited, and helped distribute books concerning suicide prevention and mental health awareness to Native children in Pine Ridge Reservation and beyond. My aunt Cindy and uncle Peter Catches are the founders and have provided me the opportunity to help volunteer and learn from the foundation. 100% volunteer service

Faithfully Sweet, Washington DC Cashier, Food Handler, Janitorial Help
August 2018 - Present
My aunt runs a catering company in DC, so over the school year I pick up temporary shifts for full weekends by taking the train from NYC to DC. While there I typically work 18hr shifts for conventions. I have lots of practice of service with a smile, cashier duties, and working under lots of pressure. I make my own scheduling for this job, so it would never conflict with any days Im supposed to be working.

Red Mill Burgers, Phinney Ridge, WA Waitress, Cashier, part-time frycook, Janitorial Help
August 2016 - June 2017
My first paying job. I learned cashier duties, customer service skills, how to grill burgers, assist in any and all restaurant duties. I quit due to my family having to move to an apartment on the other side of town, but it provided me with lots of experience.

ZooCorps, Woodland Park Zoo (Seattle, WA) ZooCorps Leader
Jan 2016 - Dec 2017
Worked with children of all ages, educating them on conservation awareness, environmental impact, and the importance of animals. Held positions of greeter, led talks on conservation in many different biomes, was a kindergarten camp counselor, and helped work behind the scenes in the petting zoo with animal care and clean up. 100% volunteer service.
