2017-2018 Undergraduate Student Researcher in Physics ICOGS, (Intra-Cavity Opto-Galvanic Spectroscopy), is a small laser-based system for radiocarbon detection.

• Inferred patterns and relationships from detailed analysis of large data sets on the IGOR interface.
• Routine sample preparation adhering to detailed SOP’s and Health and Safety Guidelines.
• Built 12CO2 and 13CO2 reference cells to define statistical parameters and ultimately, set bounds on the validity and accuracy of data. • Performed 14CO2 injections on the ICOGS system as well as maintenance of key components in the apparatus.
• Showcased research at the 9th annual Garden State LSAMP Research Conference 2017.
• Co-authored at 2017 Annual Meeting of the APS Mid-Atlantic Section | Volume 62 Number 19

• Streamlined hundreds of work orders through the set-up of dimensional gauges. Fulfilled the company's calibration standards, and also carefully inspected thousands of pieces by hand.
