Lifeguard I, First Responder
• Patrolled Brevard County public beaches to ensure a safe environment by monitoring rip currents, storms and lightening, unsafe objects like fishing hooks, and potentially dangerous sea life such as sharks or jelly fish.
• Administered medical assistance and provided local and educational information to patrons and children on the public beaches and within public parks.
• Additional responsibilities included accident and drowning prevention, public education, search and recovery of lost children, basic life support, and swimmer rescues.
Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church – Hearts out to Haiti
Volunteer
• Interacted with local children at a Vacation Bible school in Haiti, taught religious concepts, entertained the children, and provided materials.
