• Research position in which I would isolate bacterial strains of the fusarium cotton wilt pathogen to study their relationship with fungal hyphae. This work required high degrees of precision and focus and quickly taught me the ins and outs of running and maintaining a lab.

Student Worker/2018-2019
• A student run organization in which I would develop new eco conscious ideas to reduce campus footprint. This work consisted of product development, teamwork, and practice in analytical systems like python.  

Australia Research study: In partnership with Clemson university and James Cook university
Undergraduate researcher/Summer of 2018
• This research project studied the degradation of coral reef systems in North Queensland, Australia, particularly the effects of crown of thrones starfish. This research was hands on and developed my people skills by working with students from different states and continents.
