Freelance UX Designer | Human Health Project (June 2019 – Present)
Human Health Project‘s (HHP) foundation is built upon peer-to-peer health information, education, and support so people can better manage their health. I am currently working on a team to redesign their current website to provide better access to healthcare information and support.

Freelance UX Designer | ComForCare (January 2019 – May 2019)
ComForCare is a provider of private in-home care services to people of all ages. My team and I designed a workflow app for the caregivers to create a more efficient process for the staff.
• Interviewed staff for user research and used other qualitative research methods, in-person and remote
• Synthesized research with service design blueprint and 2x2 matrix
• Conducted usability tests, created wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
• Delivered design solution that reduces time spent on payroll and timesheets by 50%

Freelance UX Designer | Checkplis (November 2018 - January 2019)
Checkplis is a mobile app integrated into the restaurant POS system so customers can pay, tip and split the check from their phones. I collaborated with my team to deliver a redesign of the current IOS app and QR code placards to enhance the user experience while maintaining the look and feel of the original app.
• Led user research and conducted interviews to gain insights into the user’s experience
• Synthesized the research to prioritize our issues with the QR placard, onboarding, and tip section
• Ideated the best possible solutions to design for clear guidance through the app
• Designed a clickable prototype to conduct usability tests
• Presented deliverables to client

Digital Content Strategist | Orin for Girls (July 2016 - October 2018)
Orin for Girls is an online direct to consumer e-commerce children’s fashion brand.
• Conducted user research to drive content strategy and develop a 12-month marketing plan
• Performed SWOT analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses
• Redesigned and optimized online store and social accounts for e-commerce
• Designed and managed social ad campaigns strategy (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Etsy)

PROJECTS

UX Designer | Grindr with General Assembly
Grindr is one of the largest social networking app for gay, bi, trans, and queer people. Acknowledging the user demand for a video chat feature and frustration with bots and cat-fishing, I collaborated with my team to design a video chat experience that is seamlessly incorporated into its current mobile app experience along with verification features.
• Researched users and the market to identify main pain points, common patterns, and competition
• Sketched and designed wireframes that incorporated video chat and verification features
• Tested prototypes increasing in fidelity for user feedback to influence our design

UX Researcher | Costumes 4 Less with General Assembly
Costumes 4 Less is an online retailer that offers a wide selection of products at low prices. I researched and designed a more functional and aesthetically pleasing website to improve the shopping experience.
• Performed a heuristic evaluation, information architecture and card sorts to organize the layout and simplify the navigation
• Conducted interviews to gain an understanding of how people shopped and what they wanted
• Ideated solutions to reduce clutter and streamline the checkout process
• Created low and high fidelity interactive prototypes using Sketch and InVision
