Duties: Responsible for ensuring the proper setup of the simulation of a proper medical environment for nursing students depending on the assigned scenario(s). Mannequins are expected to be maintained by technicians and nursing students so that they remain functional.

Duties: To assist college students in improving their grammar and vocabulary retention to create concise essays with impact.

Description: In this club, members strive to promote the need to sustain the health of our environment. By engaging in events concerning sustainability, this club is eager to get HPU involved in helping each other become more efficient and thoughtful in the efforts to keep our environment healthy.
- The Write Club
Description: In this club, students from various majors are encouraged to explore their imagination and creativity. By compiling students’ artwork and written works of fiction and poetry into a booklet, students are able to come and enjoy together, listening to readings of those writings straight from the authors.

Description: This club gathers students who aspire to major in the medical field. Bringing together such individuals, the students also participate in volunteer activities related to health.
- Global Brigades club at HPU; member of club communications team
Description: In this club, members can volunteer to provide aid to civilians of underdeveloped communities in South American regions. Such aids are associated with medical, dental, water systems, public health, or environmental missions.

Description: “Students here advance professionally with a sincere interest in matters of mathematics, science, engineering, and applications of technology to society.”

Description: Volunteers come together to join hands in providing sustenance for less fortunate families. This organization aims to look past race and religion, and reach out to those in need.

Hawaii Pacific University Simulation
Details: Over summer break, social work students were invited into the HPU nursing simulation rooms to practice their skills. A scenario was set up in which an actor was used. The actor pretended to be an elderly patient, while the students practiced their ability to interact and provide assurance to the patient.

Details: The Halloween Funfest is an annual event that Hawaii Pacific University holds. As a student of HPU, it was a great opportunity to get acquainted with numerous people by volunteering at this event. The main thing that was done was setting up a haunted house that incorporated a chosen halloween theme by creating props and applying lots of cobbed webs. I also helped to set up booths by different clubs.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Event
Details: Beginning at 5AM, I helped to make fresh orchid leis for runners and also played with kids and adults as they played game booths that I, along with others, helped to set up.

Details: In partnership with Pali Momi hospital of Aiea, I was given the opportunity to show my support for breast cancer awareness. Along with other women, I helped to spread awareness about cancer risk factors especially about breast cancer by playing games and passing out informational flyers and brochures about it.

Da Freakshow at HPU
Details: Da Freakshow is an annual event that Hawaii Pacific University holds in which students get to showcase their talents. Here, I volunteered to help set up the event at the Hawaii Theatre along with faculty and other volunteers. Doing so allowed contestants to rehearse before the actual show.

Global Brigades at HPU - Bake Sale
Details: To raise funds for an upcoming South American public health trip, I volunteered to help sell baked goods to fellow students in my school. Prior to that, I created a flyer to promote the event and the club’s purposes.

University Scholars Program – Kapalai Farms
Details: With the goal of reconnecting people with themselves and the community, volunteers were provided with the opportunity of participating in a taro patch cleanup. The duties included were weeding, removing snail eggs, and removing invasive vegetation.

Details: Helped to restock supplies and also assisted patients & staff with their needs. Such assistance to patients included providing water and warm blankets.
