• Goal is to redesign current treatment to address elevated DBPs in distribution system
• Designing system utilizing ozone, microfiltration membranes, biologically active filtration, and chlorine disinfection

Concept Design for Nutrient Removal at Colorado Springs Utilities’ Water Resource Recovery Facility | Spring 2020
• Semester project with the goal of retrofitting the current water treatment plant to meet updated nutrient loading requirements put in place by CO Regulation 31
• Design will be entered into the WEFTEC Student Design Competition
