ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Estimation of Trip Generation Models.
• Modelling the trip generation behavior of the Employed Adult person type in the state of Texas, using the data obtained from the 2017 National Household Travel Survey (NHTS)
Crash Data Modelling.
• Traditional crash data modeling for Florida pedestrian crash data available on the FARS database. The model has been estimated to compare the potential variables influencing the pedestrian crashes at Intersection and Non-Intersection locations. A term Research Paper was submitted on this topic.
Evaluation of Performance Measures. (Using simulation tool ‘SwashSim’)
• Developed a process to verify SwashSim output of Space Mean Speed and Spot Mean Speed performance measures for a medium freeway network. The results are documented on the SwashSim Wiki site.
Traffic signals auditing and traffic volume counting. (Undergraduate)
• Evaluated the newly installed vehicle/traffic actuated signal system and delivered remarks about their effectiveness in easing the traffic congestion, which was assigned by the Commissioner of City Police Mysuru
Analysis of horizontal curve in an existing roadway/highway. (Undergraduate)
• Analysed various geometric parameters of a horizontal curve such as super-elevation and radius of curvature and compared them with the norms of design Specified by Indian Roads Congress.
Analysis and design of multi-storied apartment buildings. (Undergraduate)
• Designed and Performed analysis of the multi-storied apartment building subjected to a different combination of loads using ETABS Software (Designed in Excel Sheets and Detailed using AutoCAD).
