? A Japanese anime never before introduced to America, the original television show is an adaptation of a manga series retelling the notorious Chinese novel of the same name. I adapted the series into a parody-drama, taking the time to research Chinese history along with reading the original novels to best understand the cultural significance when introducing the show to an American audience.
? Eighth-place winner in the 2016 TIBA Contest, honored by judges of over three hundred entries.
? A unique comedy version of the source material required new writing in terms of dialogue and plot.
? Extensive editing of original footage to create entirely new shots and animations.
