Community Director- Residential Life | Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) 2016–2018
Supervision & Advising
• Advised the university-wide Residence Hall Association in the use of their $15,500 annual programming budget
• Advised a residence hall council of 9 elected student leaders with a programming budget of $8,000
• Coordinated student travel and accommodations for Washington Higher Education Sustainability Conference and the National and Pacific Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls Conferences
• Directed the Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equity learning community and task force, and changed the learning outcomes and program development model to have an intersectional feminist focus
• Supervised, hired and evaluated a staff of 7 undergraduate Resident Assistants
• Supervised 1 Senior Resident Assistant in their supervision, hiring, and training of 19 front desk staff members
Hiring, Training & Development
• Developed new rubrics, orientation, and assessment for a holistic student staff hiring process involving 100+ new applicants, and 30+ returning applicants and 20 volunteer professional staff
• Created & co-facilitated annual two-week, department-wide training for 70 Resident Assistants, including creation of integrated social and environmental justice curriculum and assessment of learning outcomes
• Co-authored a 20 page social justice reflection booklet as a part of department-wide student leader training
• Created & coordinated an award winning, annual, four-week social-justice themed group dialogue series for departmental student leaders

Program Coordinator- Temporary | YWCA GirlsFirst 2019
• Coordinate 15 paid summer internships with businesses in Seattle including Seattle Art Museum, Swedish Medical Center, Dorsey & Whitney Law Firm, Port of Seattle, Sail and Sand Point, etc.
• Reached out to 50+ employers across Seattle to coordinate paid summer internships for high school students
• Implement racial justice focused curriculum & tutoring services at 4 high schools in South Seattle for 50+ students
• Plan fieldtrips and service learning days for 20 high school students to Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetland, Sail and Sandpoint, a domestic violence shelter, etc.
• Created Summer Internship Readiness and Black Beauty Matters curriculum with topics including Eurocentric beauty standards, stereotypes of Black womxn in media, navigating racism and sexism in the work place, etc.

Contract Curriculum Consultant | Degrees of Change 2019
• Reconfigured and enhanced curriculum for first generation college student coaching program
• Train facilitators on engaging workshop delivery and implementing activities within presentations
• Create and draft mental health and self care curriculum for National Act Six training


Program Coordinator- Office of the Vice President of Student Development | Seattle University (SU) 2014–2016
• Recruited, hired, trained, and supervised 5 undergraduate student staff members in the management of the Innovation Center programming and resources
• Served on the committee for the Inaugural Leadership Training Implementation Team alongside six other offices, with the responsibility of creating the conference schedule, internal and external outreach, leading team meetings, and establishing the vision for the revamped training for over 300 student attendees
• Planned and implemented a meaningful transition process for 40 incoming first-year students in the First Year Leadership Institute through teambuilding, personal assessment, and social programming
• Assisted in the development and execution of university’s annual student leader awards celebration with an attendance of over 250 students and staff members
• Managed the student commencement speaker selection process through creating a student and faculty selection committee, cross campus advertising, and a speaker audition process
• Constructed a comprehensive application through Canvas for positional leadership roles on campus
• Assembled a team and created a Canvas module for divisional professional development about Universal Design and how to make events/spaces more accessible for students with disabilities

Intern- International Student Center (ISC) | Seattle University (SU) 2015-2016
• Coordinated and revamped International Week, an ACPA 2013 Outstanding International Education Award winning program, which included 20 events with 15 to 400 students in attendance ranging in topic from international student experience, the cultural history of Seattle, and education abroad programs
• Organized and led focus groups about international student transition to SU and campus climate
• Advised students with program development including logistics, marketing, and event setup
• Assisted with Winter orientation for undergraduate, graduate, and transfer international students
