-Teaching Old Time/Appalachian, Irish, English, and French Canadian fiddle traditions
-Experience and knowledge with a large variety of other folk traditions including Swedish, German, and Balkan music
-Beginning and Intermediate level classical violin especially with the Suzuki method
-Teaching Music theory particularly counterpoint up to and beyond AP music theory level
-Teaching 16th century style counterpoint
-Practical knowledge of classical and contemporary classical music composition and familiarity with application processes for college and festivals and portfolio assembly
-How to effectively and efficiently use both the older and most recent versions of Sibelius notation software up to publishing standards.
