In this position, I gained further experience in daily, weekly, and monthly production planning. I planned out our pastry production for myself, and two to three other bakers at a time. I trained employees on baking at Macrina, and taught them our standards. I set long term goals for my team and their training, and help them achieve them. I also talked with customers about special cake orders, and make the orders myself, while staying in communication with the customer the entire time. I order our produce and dry goods, and communicate with the rest of the company constantly about things like equipment issues, new holidays and seasonal menus, etc.

Do it Yourself?, Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, WA, 2015
For this exhibition, I worked with a small team of students to create and curate a spring exhibition for sophomore and junior Fine Arts Students. We designed and reviewed student’s applications for this exhibition, worked with the school to find an on campus space for our exhibition, and acquired funding from the school to provide refreshments for the opening reception. We also helped prepare the space before installation, and helped artists install and light their works.
