Established Center of Excellence/Best Practices:
Designed and created manufacturing training program, working internally with Subject Matter Experts to create a lasting, robust program still used today. The company was challenged with rapid growth, producing a highly successful product without an effective safety program and led to accidents and unsafe working conditions. The solution was to implement that program consistently across the company, with orientation and manufacturing being the primary focus. After implementation, safety incidents decreased by 15 %.

Document Control:
Established a Document Control Administration System to control documents and ensure best practices were consistently followed (style guides, nomenclature, formatting, and accessibility). Trained employees in Document Control, establishing and maintaining records management procedures and policies. The immediate need was safety training. A team of three trainers, myself included, were trained in ISO 9000, which was documented and implemented company-wide. The result was a much safer environment overall.

Technical Writing/Documentation:
1) Enabled design and execution of internal training and documentation program for a company of 200. All manufacturing processes and work instructions written and/or edited, and maintained.
2) Wrote, updated, & edited customer technical training documentation for a company of 1,000. Due to rapid expansion, this high-tech company required immediate results to onboard technical, sales, and support staff. The nature of the documentation was comprehensive and wide-ranging, requiring both speed and accuracy to support sales quotas and customer serviceS targets. Used Adobe FrameMaker.
