Experience
Membership Service Representative (EJ YMCA) June 2015 – Present
Membership Service Representatives (MSRs) oversee making sure all guests are welcomed and have everything they need. MSRs are required to know the details about everything that is going on in the facility. This includes membership prices and policies, information on all aerobics classes, information and pricing on all programs, child care times and policies, facility hours, etc. The job is a mix of paperwork, sales, and customer service. Along with my work as an MSR, I have also worked besides the marketing director for the experience.
Birthday Party Staff (EJ YMCA) 2015 – Present
Birthday Party Staff duties are set up, clean up, and working birthday parties. Staff are required to set up tables, chairs, bounce house, etc. before each party and picking up all these items afterwards, as well as cleaning and sweeping the room afterwards. During the party, staff must aid the party parent with anything that they need so that they have the best, most stress-free experience possible.
Wellness Staff (EJ YMCA) August 2017 – December 2017
Wellness Staff watch over the wellness floor and all gym equipment. Staff members are required to clean the equipment and make sure everything is in place to maintain a safe and sanitary workout environment for guests. With those duties, we also help guests if they need any help with machines and watch guests to make sure no one is going to injure themselves.
Professional Fundraiser (Ruffalo Noel Levitz/UNO) March 2018 – Present
Professional Fundraisers are employed through Ruffalo Noel Levitz but work at the University of New Orleans. As a Professional Fundraisers we call alumni of the university and speak with them about their experience at the University of New Orleans, tell them about events happening around campus that they might be interested in, and ask them if they want to be a part of our current giving campaign and make a donation to the university. We then have to input the result into the computer as well as process their card information if they donate on a credit card.

Marketing
Aided the marketing director at the East Jefferson YMCA to gain some experience and become more familiar with responsibilities in marketing. Experiences include calling potential members, calling current members, and designing a weekly newsletter to send out to all members.

This includes planning dates for events, setting deadlines and rules for the chapters on campus, running the University of New Orleans Panhellenic Instagram and Twitter, reaching out to businesses for sponsorships, overseeing a team of recruitment counselors, encouraging girls to participate in the recruitment process, making sure all rules are being followed, planning actual events, and much more!
