Cal State University Police Department
San Bernardino, CA
October 2008 – May 2010
Community Services Officer:
My job was to lock up nearly every building on campus during closing. Over the summer it was my responsibility to unlock some of the main buildings that were still being used. Part of lock up is to clear out the buildings before they are completely locked up and to pick up found property. Pick up lost items, bring it to the station, process it, then place under safe keeping. When those items aren’t picked up after a certain date, it is put up for auction. Another part of my job was providing an escort to students and faculty. I will get a call from dispatch to go to a certain building, pick up the person and take them to their requested destination around the campus. Also on my shift, I patrolled around the campus, if I see something going on or see something odd I report it to an officer and assist them. I also assisted anyone in the station whether it be pushing papers, running errands or taking the units to the car wash. Volunteer Work Calvary Chapel Murrieta-2004-2007: Back in high school, I volunteered in the church nursery during services. I volunteered between 7-10 times. I watched over babies and toddlers, played and supervised with them. Animal Friends of the Valley-Lake Elsinore- 2012: I only had a chance to once, but I volunteered for a day at this animal shelter cleaning cages and enclosures. I also got to care for and clean a few of the dogs.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Coordinator at Canyon Lake Community Church

Preschool Assistant Teacher, Bend OR

Hello, my name is Tabitha Webster. I am 30 years of age, married over six years to the love of my life and mother to our two children, a boy of five years and girl three years of age. I have an outgoing, positive personality, and love to be constantly moving and doing different things every day.

I am in the beginnings of the online Masters Program in Early Childhood Education with Grand Canyon University. I am passionate about working with children, especially the preschool age, and would love to become a preschool teacher. I currently homeschool my own two children and they have been thriving on our curriculum. Right now I work in the Children’s Ministry at Canyon Lake Community Church, going into my second year. I provide childcare for children of all ages, newborn to young teen. I help teach some AWANA curriculum and teach Sunday School lessons on Sundays.

We currently live in Southern California, but are ready to relocate to Bend OR. Our lease is up in June and are ready to leave California. We have family in Oregon and cannot wait to relocate. I would be so honored and grateful for this Assistant Teacher position, as I would be able to continue my passion of working with young children, and transition to the job I strive for in full teaching. I am excited and look forward to everything I can learn through your teachers and staff in the classroom environment and from the children. Our church also has a licensed preschool that my children attended, and know the Preschool Coordinator and teachers very well. I can provide references from the church preschool and children’s ministry staff if needed. Thank you so much for your consideration.
