EXPERIENCE Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam – 2016
• Worked as a student intern in the Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam.
Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam is a premier ship repair yard of the Indian Navy. The ship yard is spread over an area of 400 acres and employs more than 6000 personnel.
• Worked in the Electrical Repair shop, where in I had hands on experience of assembly, disassembly, repair and rewinding of motors, generators, switchboard breakers and other Power Generation and
Distribution equipment of the Indian Naval ships
• Worked in the Weapons Department, where in I had the opportunity of learning about repairs to PCBs of Radars, Sonars, Communication equipment, using the Universal PCB testers.
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited - Visakhapatnam – 2016
• Was a student intern for two weeks. HPCL is a public sector oil refinery at
Visakhapatnam, India. This is a fortune 500 company and has a capacity of 8.3 Million Metric tons per annum.
Activities undertaken: Learnt about the refinery substation, the refinery control room, various protections and control systems being used. Conducted a study of AC motors.
Projects undertaken:
• Construction of a Semi- autonomous rover for real time application Construction of LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer)
Current projects:
• Statistical analysis on the relationship between use of green energy in the energy sector and the carbon footprint present in the atmosphere.
• Project management of organizing a concert (autumn rhapsody)
• Sustainability Analysis of Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) project.
• Double Exposure impact on the city of Dhaka.
• Sustainability Analysis of Procter & Gamble.
• Environmental analysis of HUDSON-BERGEN LIGHT RAIL (HBLR) ROUTE 440 EXTENSION
