WORK EXPERIENCE:

September 2017 – June 2018 English Language Assistant at the Instituto Chileno Británico de Cultura, Santiago, Chile
• Planned and conducted lessons for all age groups, ensuring that material was relevant to each group and suitable for the length of the lessson
• Monitored the progression of each student using Excel
• Organised and carried out conversation and grammar workshops
• Drafted letters to parents of the students

1st July – 16th July 2017 Supervisor at The Wimbledon Championships
• Worked as a supervisor in the same unit as the previous championships
• Duties included: training new members of the team in the operation of the unit, monitoring food and drink stock and re-stocking when necessary, planning staff breaks, opening and closing the unit, cashing up the till and serving customers at the coffee shop and bar.

9th January – 20th January 2017 Intern in the Analysis and Research Centre at Brunswick Group
• Researched digital and social media trends for 2017 and their impact on education, presented a report document of conclusions
• Conducted research for executives working in the TMT sector and recruitment

• Worked in a unit that included a coffee shop and a bar
• Duties included: working as a cashier, serving and preparing drinks and food, restocking items, closing the unit at the end of the day

13th – 17th June 2016 Chiswick W4 – Work Experience at Local Newspaper
• Attended the launch of Gareth Jones’ ‘D-trilogy’ films hosted by local MP Rupa Huq at the House of Commons and wrote a feature
• Investigated local stories for the website
• Monitored different social media channels to discover stories
• Handled telephone enquiries regarding online material and leads for stories

• Fully-trained in using the till, preparing drinks, serving and clearing tables
