Created a project plan to identify a new name, new tax ID, new insurance contracts, and licenses. Secured funding and hired new billing and support staff.
Met goal to file claims before 90 day deadlines and secured a 97%+ collection rate. Motivated staff to work evenings and weekends after 60-day delay in purchase of new billing software. Charges entered on approximately 5000 encounter forms.
Negotiated expected purchase of assets from dissolved corporation by 50%, saving thousands of dollars.
Created template to meet Federal HIPAA compliance guidelines which eliminated need to purchase expensive software. Template continues to be used by Greenville Medical Manager Group.
