Work Experience
Cupcake DownSouth May 2018 - June 2018
Sales Associate
My main duty as sales associate was to inform and sell customers our 50+ cupcake options, know how to make the frosting for each one, and do inventory checks for each opening/closing shift.
Whenever a customer called about catering, I had to take note of their order: what event it was, what kind of cupcake(s) do they need, how many of each kind, the location it had to be delivered to, the date and time of when they needed the order by, and their contact information.
Occasionally there would be day-of orders that were either pick up or delivery. For pick up, I would have to put together the cupcake order, label it for whoever ordered, and set it aside in the pickup area of the store. For delivery, if it was within our travel radius, I would first have to charge the customer; then I would either drive or walk to the location to deliver the order.

The Washout May 2017 - May 2018
Hostess
Greeting guests, running the floor plan, and communicating with servers were my priority as a hostess at The Washout.
Whenever the phone rang, I had to answer it immediately. If there was an order for pickup, I had to jot it down and quickly put in the order to ring up the kitchen. Once the customer arrived for their order, I would complete their transaction on the computer by taking their card or cash. If there was ever a call to managerial positions, I would ask what it may be in reference to and then pass along the note to the manager so they could call at their convenience.
Throughout the winter season, the staff was low. I was scheduled nearly five days out of the week and occasionally on weekends I would work as a hostess and server during busy hours. Around the holidays, such as Christmas, New Year’s and Easter, I was doubled in wage for the shifts I worked. My average worked hours was 65-70 from November 2017 - April 2018.

The Tattooed Moose February 2017 - April 2017
Hostess
As a hostess at The Tattooed Moose, I greeted and seated guests, took names down on a waiting list, and bussed tables.
If there was ever any down-time, I would clean the silverware and roll it in our napkins so I could then set tables before a rush of customers would come in.
Most calls I took were customers asking of our location and hours. I informed anyone that asked how to get to the restaurant from their location and where to turn (due to it being in a slightly secluded area), and then tell them the hours for the day they anticipated to come. If there was a holiday or special occasion going on, I would inform then of our adjusted hours.

Internship Experience
The Flexx (USA) May 2017
Assistant to Head Manager at Flexx East coast Headquarters
Weekly, I had to update the stocks of bestselling shoes from The Flexx that were sold on Amazon and Zappos on a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. At the every end of my internship, I had to combine all the spreadsheets and calculate the average change in stock for each stock for the month.
I ran the social media pages for The Flexx USA (east coast) and occasionally posted on behalf of the company. Whenever someone reached out with either a comment on the company or a question about the company, I would be responsible for responding to them.
Every few days, I was asked to go to the storage unit where older versions and/or soon-to-be-featured shoes were kept and bring to the office whichever the head manager needed. The very first day going there, the head manager asked me to spend half the day organizing the storage unit to make it look presentable and organized for whenever anyone needed to go there.
